Upcoming Events

Starting Point

Today immediately following the worship service (12:30-2:30). Lunch is provided. If you are new to the church, been attending but have not yet joined, or just want to learn about who we are as a church no matter your membership status, please come be a part of Starting Point. You do not have to join the church if you come to Starting Point, but it is the first step to becoming a member should you decide you wish to join Shenandoah Community Fellowship.

If you would like to attend, please Register Here so we can prepare for your attendance by having enough food, materials, and other administrative type matters. If you have any questions, please email the church scf@scfwoodstock.com.

Easter

Join us April 20 at either 9am or 11am as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Savior. No LIFE Groups or Kidz Church. Livestream at 11am.

Nursery – Infants (0-24 months) and Toddler (2-4 year old) will be available during both services.

Communion will be observed Palm Sunday during April 13 worship service.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

We will be taking a special offering the month of April for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. Every designated dollar goes towards the training and resources to support thousands of missionaries in North America. Please prayerfully consider how you can give this year. We have envelopes available in the back of the worship center to designate your giving.

River Baptism

Following the worship service on June 8 (rain date June 22) we will meet at 12:45 at Doug & KK Stroop’s farm for a picnic lunch. Chicken, burgers, and hot dogs will be prepared by the elders. Everything will be provided except sides and desserts. You are asked to bring a side dish or dessert but keep in mind neither heating nor refrigeration for your dishes is available prior to lunch. Bring something that doesn’t need to be heated or bring in your own cooler.

SCF Student Summer Camp

SCF Students summer camp is going to the beach this year!! We are going to Garden City Chapel in Garden City, South Carolina from June 27 through July 2. This camp was started to minister to Children’s Homes all throughout the nation. Our youth group is planning to partner up with one of those children’s homes and minister to them by attending worship services and going to different places in the community to love them and hang out with them. This is going to be a special camp this summer!

Cost is $300 a student, a deposit of $75 is due upon sign up and is non-refundable.

1. Remember the creative purposes of God. (1-2)

Principle: Human beings are God’s special creation.
- God made human beings:
  - In His likeness
  - Male and female
  - Recipients of His blessing

2. Realize the pattern of sinful human life. (3-20)

Principle: Human beings experience death because of sin.

3. Rejoice in the gracious promise of God. (21-32)

Principle: Out of His gracious love, God gives us the assurance of His promise of eternal life through faith.
